System level design
We’ll make sure that your idea will become a product that meets all the functional, environmental, and regulatory requirements. It’s our responsibility to make sure the product is compatible with its interfaces, easy to use, professional, and high quality.
Our electronics design services include both schematic design and PCB design. The range of our past projects spans from simple adapter boards to 14-layer printed circuit boards with FPGA SoC (System on Chip) having over 1000 pins.
Siru SDR20 software defined radio serves as a good showcase of our RF (radio frequency) capabilities. Our PCB and schematic design benefits from our in-house RF expertise, which is the foundation of designing EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) certified and reliably functional devices.
To make a product complete, we also have in-house mechanical R&D. Our large network of manufacturing partners allows us to design casings from a variety of materials.
Using the above-mentioned RF expertise, we have designed devices ranging from sensitive measurement instruments to weatherproof GPS receivers.
Firmware & software design
Through our long experience in graphics processing we have in-depth knowledge of developing FPGA and ASIC designs. To remain a competitive company in the rapidly developing industry of graphics processing, we have developed a very efficient High Level Synthesis (HLS) workflow. Using our HLS flow, focus is kept on high level code development instead of wasting time on low level (register-transfer level) development.
We wanted to explore the capabilities of our workflow for other areas, and even though our HLS flow was originally developed for GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) development, we have found it to be very efficient for developing any high-throughput and time-critical applications.
For some simpler applications, FPGA and ASIC hardware is just overkill and too expensive, and in such cases microcontrollers or ARM CPUs are often the right choice. Most devices requiring less processing power are based on microcontrollers and ARM CPUs, and thus software design is also an important part of our R&D services.
Product manufacturing management
The manufacturing of an electronic device is complex. With our expertise and partner network we can take care of the whole process. To put it simply, once we get an order, we’ll make sure the products are delivered within the schedule that we’ve planned together.
Component availability may change during the planned lifecycle of a product, which is why we track the availability of every component and make the necessary changes to keep the manufacturing running and the product always available.
